Scrubbing tower is mainly used for polysilicon solar photovoltaic industry, the single crystal silicon, semiconductor electronics, metallurgy, iron and steel, non-ferrous metallurgy, medicine, chemical industry, environmental protection, electricity and other countries large and medium-sized enterprises to deal with emissions
We can use many size but the calculation was made on 5700 m3/ hour contact time 2 seconds and the rings holder is 90 cm diameter as per the attached file.
I recommend that you calculate and find the ceramic rings that will satisfy our request.
Maybe you can use 25 mm raschig rings200m2/ m3 of rings or other one that you can calculate.
The scrubber data are attached and the process is as the following:
for FRP or stainless steel wet packed scrubber.
The outlet gases comes from steps of reaction through 2 inch pipe going out from safety valves from the reactor.
The first reaction is between Naphthalene and H2SO4 at 165 C and 2 bars, pressure over the 2 bars will be relived to the scrubber and when the pressure comes back to 2 bars there will be no gases going to the reactor until the pressure comes back to over 2 bars.
The 2nd reaction will be between the first material produces( sulphonated naphthalene and water and Formalin at 135 C and 4.5 bars, so the gases will be vented again If the pressure goes over 4.5 bars and stops when it come back to 4.5 bars.
The reactor used will be 20m3 and materials quantities will be as the following:
Naphthalene 4300 kg.
H2SO4 (98%) 3600 Kg.
Water 5000 kg
Formalin(formaldehyde) 3000 kg.
The gases as described will be bubbled inside the scrubber water then mixed with fresh air then scrubber in the packed bed using ceramic raschig rings. Packing.
We use the scrubber water in the reaction so accumulation of gases in the water and there will be no need for any chemical treatment for the water.
If you cannot supply the vessel with all accessories please send to me quotation for the accessories and we may manufacture the vessel locally.
Note that it is an urgent matter now for the valves and for the scrubber. |
