DME manufactures bellows pump connectors using multi-ply bellows to isolate the vibration. These joints are compact, very flexible, and can be furnished in lengths that will replace old rubber expansion joints. Isolation of the carbon steel flanges from the flow media can be achieved by the use of vanstone flanges. Tie rods are designed to absorb the full thrust load resulting from the internal pressure.
551 Series (Standard) - Fixed Flange Pump Connectors
Triangular shaped plate flanges are drilled with 150# or 300# bolting patterns. Pipe stops are used on the tie rods to prevent over compression. Flanges can be furnished in stainless steel and with raised faces when required.
552 Series (Standard) - Vanstone Flange Pump Connector
The use of vanstone flanges with rods does not allow for flange misalignment. The purpose of using this joint is to isolate the flow media from the flanges. This allows for use of carbon steel flanges with stainless steel or inconel.
553 Series (Standard) - Weld End Pump Connectors
Beveled weld ends allow for a permanent weld into the system. Bellows and weld ends can be furnished in stainless or other alloys and the tie rods and hardware supplied in lower cost carbon steel.
