Monel 400 demister Pad and Mist Eliminator
The demister pad/mist eliminator is made by Monel 400,
Monel 400 is a nickel-copper alloy (about 67% Ni – 23% Cu)
that is resistant to sea water and steam at high temperatures
as well as to salt and caustic solutions. and it is constructed from
multi layer knitted mesh media and provides a dense 'mat'
through which process gas flows and liquid entrainment is
trapped through coalescence and prevented
from passing downstream, achieving liquid/gas separation.
